Who is EuityReadysm?
We are a long established and experienced AV* rated law firm located in Massachusetts.  Equity Ready sm is a service provided by Attorney C. Theodore Mariolis , a partner with Gelinas & Ward, LLP. Attorney Mariolis has practiced over 25 years in the real estate law and title field He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. During his career he has successfully completed thousands of titles, closings and other real estate matters. (*Note: AV is the highest rating possible and is awarded based upon the peer review process of Martindale Hubble).

What is EquityReadysm?
EquityReadysm is an efficient way of ordering attorney reviewed title reports for equity loans and other mortgage loans. To order a title report, simply click on the order form link above and complete the simple order form.   For step-by-step instruction on completing the order form click here.      

How much does it cost?
For a typical search, there is an initial fee of $79 for the title examination, Preliminary Title Report and Exhibit A. The recording service fee is $48 for recording services and Title Certification. Recording costs to the Registry of Deeds are additional. Occasionally an extended search is advised requiring a higher fee.

What reports will I receive?
Within five business days you receive a Preliminary Title Report and Exhibit A to be attached to your mortgage.  We deliver reports by email. We can prepare a mortgage or any other documents you desire. After we record you will receive a Recording Confirmation and Certification. Certification is backed by a $2,000,000.00 errors and omissions policy.
